As we are a full member of the Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps we are able to offer a full range of services using top quality approved tools safe in the knowledge we are fully insured and backed by the Guild of Master Sweeps.
The sweeping frequencies below are for guidance. The frequency will depend on a number of factors including: Type of fuel, appliance used, frequency and duration of use, moisture content of wood fuel, type of chimney. We will be able to advise on what's best for you during their visit. Guild sweeps undertake the most extensive training and assessment programme in the UK.
The Guild requires member sweeps to be fully insured for Chimney sweeping and equipped to deal with all standard job situations. Members must undertake regular refresher training. Many members undertake additional professional training and are experts in their field. In the unlikely event your Guild sweep is unable to help, they should be able to recommend someone who can.

An excellent, professional who is willing to try various methods to solve a problem. We had previously asked another person to sweep our chimney which had a bird's nest stuck in it. He didn't come back to us.
Steve, however, was not put off and tackled the job with skill and a positive attitude. I would recommend him to anyone. Oh, and he's a very friendly person as well. A pleasure doing business with him.

I can recommend Steve (Dr Flue) without any hesitation.
He is very proactive and really knows his stuff. I had been told many different things as to my multi-fuel stove by different Installers/Chimney Sweeps. Getting slightly confused I decided to look up the Hetas guidelines and regulations myself. What Steve had told me was spot on.
Yesterday evening he came round as scheduled, did all the work and left the place really tidy considering what could potentially be a very messy job.
Very courteous and communicates well via text, phone and email.
