Specialising in residential property within the South Devon area, we offer a bespoke service in pre-purchase building surveys and RICS home buyer reports. In 1997 Ed Chamberlain BSc (Hons) MRICS qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and has lived and worked in South Devon for over 21 years.
He began to specialise in the residential sector in 1998 having previously worked primarily as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (or Building Cost Consultant) gaining valuable experience in both new build and alteration work.Whilst he has designed numerous home extensions and new builds, he now focuses on condition survey work.
His wide ranging experience enables him to offer informal practical design advice that may be useful as part of the decision making process for a property purchase. I called several surveyors to organise a RICs valuation for my property, including Ed Chamberlain. Not only did they offer a reasonable quote, the service has been exceptional. Angela, who organised and carried out the valuation, was friendly and helpful; this was particularly important to me as I have little experience or knowledge in this area.
