We recently had a new combi boiler installed at the beginning of November. Steve, the contractor that carried out the work was an absolute diamond. It took him forever to figure out the pipework for the boiler that was already in situ but it didn't phase him at all. He was polite and professional at all times and went above and beyond our expectations. I can honestly say that i wouldn't hesitate in recommending them as a company and should the need arise i would definitely use them again. Exceptional service and excellent value for money. Couldn't fault anything.

All I can say is that if you are tempted to use these cowboys, don't! If you do then you better hope that you have good home emergency cover as installations are that bad that you will soon need it. Not testing system properly leading to damaged pipes clear red flag to avoid. Customer Service difficult to get hold of and of sporadic assistance for anything meaningful.

Had energy care group offer me home insulation under the government grant. I was unfortunate enough to have have a really bad fitter install my home insulation. The guy owned no dust extraction kit and left so much mess that i refused to have them finish the work. He broke my guttering and left cement compo all over the window sills and slabs. The whole inside and outside of my home including my car is thickly covered in brick dust. Had to go round and refit all the wonky vents. Overall just a poor quality of work from somebody who obviously stopped caring along time ago. Office staff were friendly

Unfortunately what started off as being a smooth process in terms of booking loft insulation through the Government's Eco Grant ended up in disappointment and my loft still uninsulated.
The surveyor arrived 3 weeks prior to the main job and gave everything the go ahead.
When the installer arrived he went up to the loft and immediately stated that he couldn't install the insulation due to an issue that the surveyor missed and should've discussed with me. The installer left after taking pictures and discussing the issue with the main office.
I phoned the company to sort out the situation and initially

My boiler is 2 years old, I have had to call out engineer 4 times this year alone (not counting first year). Paid for a 5 year guarantee and guess what - they only gave me 2 years - shocking service, shocking quality and like they say, if it seems too good to be true, it usually is. Steer clear of this company! Their phones are off for the Christmas period with no alternative number to call - again, shocking!

We've just had our boiler and system updated by Energy care group and I couldn't have been happier with the service and work that they have done. At every stage they have been polite, courteous and professional - I don't know many other companies that have engineers / electricians that would stay to finish a job past 6pm on a Friday, and I quote 'I didn't want to leave you without heating over the weekend'. Top job, I would recommended them without hesitation. Thanks again.

Given 3 stars as good and bad points:
Good: Worcester boiler is excellent and working well. Will arrived early and worked really hard for 1.5 days he had to re-site the boiler and install a new one so fair bit of work. The heating is brilliant and they added thermostatic valves to our rads after I requested it. Sam bailey was very helpful on email and Dan the surveyor was much more impressive than another company's surveyor we had round. Bad: extra pipes were needed which wasn't brought up in the survey so now the bedroom is covered in copper pipes, However we can box them in. The plumber made
