My friend had fire & surround fitted by black diamond very poor workmanship all tiles have come away on wall marble broke at bottom of surround excuse after excuse not to come out and numerous phone calls to try and sort out this mess but this company not interested in after service now they been paid wouldn’t recommend. I would avoid black diamond I have upload pictures to show future customers the mess they have left this customer in absolutely disgracefully. Margaret rang when she saw this review said it was unfair & promised she would send someone out to sort this out this mess but again

We popped into the showroom for a wood burner stove. Gave our details to arrange a follow up call and survey for installation. No return calls, no communication. We appreciate the lock down issues, so rung again to chase, and again no follow up. very poor levels of communication. glad we haven't passed any money over.

If I could rate a Zero I would, very poor after sales service, they take your money and if anything goes wrong with the poor workmanship they will blame you and not return your calls, fitters are self employed and use the cheapest materials possible like black bin bags under your fireplace and just a sand and cement mixture to fix chamber in place which eventually cracked and fell off the wall, no bonding used just sand and cement, the cheapest materials as possible. Darren will then come up with every excuse and blame you saying your house is damp even though a builder has confirmed this isn’t

Wow! Its stunning. Darren and Margaret know there stuff.The process of buying the fire and fireplace is very slow but that's the world we live in now due to covid.I am really pleased with my new fireplace definitely worth the wait fitters were respectful of our home and did a great job.I recommend that you try them i am one happy customer its fabulous Thank you

Had fire surround fitted 18 months ago, spend £1400+, marble tiles now lifted at back and cracked, rang and left a message for Darren, he never rang back, rang again a week later said he had been off for a… couple of days promised to come out but never rang back or came out as promised! That was now two weeks ago. Poor after sales would not recommend this company or use again! Now had to remove the marble tiles myself and reconcrete... still not heard from Darren or Margaret...

We looked around several different showrooms before ultimately ordering our fire from Black Diamond. Darren and Margaret were so friendly and knowledgeable, and put no pressure on us to order; a huge difference to the other places we went to, where the staff barely acknowledged us. After the order was placed I rang up to request a spacer, which was added to the order with no difficulty.
Cannot recommend Black Diamond highly enough, and my new fire looks great!

I had a fire fitted with this company a couple of years ago. I recently learned that there had been a number of safety issues with fires fitted by them, so I decided to contact them as at the time I felt quite uneasy as to whether my fire was installed safely. Unfortunately Margaret the owner was extremely unhelpful and quite defensive on the telephone. I wanted to know who the workmen were who completed the brickwork and installation of our fire, as there had been a case where a fire fitted by subcontractors to Black Diamond had exploded. I was not accusing them of anything or saying that there
