Our RIBA certified architects produce a full set of professional architectural plans for the design of your new loft conversion. You will be able to liaise directly with your architect when making revisions, at your convenience. We compile a Book of Calculations, so we know what the load bearings are and where the steels will need to be placed in your new conversion.

We used Surrey Lofts last late last year and could not recommend the team highly enough. They made the entire process easy and their forms of communication were outstanding (setting up WhatsApp Groups, emails, etc.. Everyone was contactable 24/7 which is an unbelievable service. A special thank you to Pete who was our Project manager who was outstanding and took our calls even at weekends and the girls in the office.
Thank you for the great work and the great finish. So pleased we made the decision to use Surrey Lofts.

We used Surrey Lofts for a loft conversion on our 1930s semi- previously 3 bedroom house. They have transformed our loft space into a pretty vast area, with 1 master bedroom with dressing room area, a small guest room and a good sized bathroom- so now a 5 bedroom house. The difference to our lives in having an extra floor, the most luxurious floor, space to escape and for friends to stay is unbelievable! We had Pete as our project manager and he is a really friendly, helpful guy, we got to the know our build team so well it was like having friends there during the build. Very impressed with the

I had a fantastic experience with Surrey lofts. Very professional outfit and the loft was completed to a very high standard. Communication was great at all points with Mark and Pete keeping me well informed of progress up until the start of the build. Once the work started nothing was too much trouble and were on call day and night to help with any problems. They were able to fit around my work schedule arriving early and staying late when needed. Finally the quality of the workmanship and the finish was second to none. I would happily recommend Surrey lofts to friends and family.

I cannot recommend the Surrey Lofts team highly enough, the entire project was seamless. One or two minor hiccups along the way have been dealt with promptly sometimes with the help of Kelsey and Vicky in the office who were always on hand.
Our project manager Leigh ran a super tight ship of skilled individuals all of whom were helpful and courteous. The whole thing took 5 weeks including a new roof!

We had our loft converted by them and we honestly could not be happier with their work and service. They finished within 7 weeks and it seemed to go so quickly. The room is huge and they really did everything they could to maximise the space. They managed to get extra headroom which has made a huge difference. We love our new loft bedroom and would recommend them in a heartbeat!

We had a terrific experience throughout, and appreciated the advice from the team and our project manager Leigh during the build. Everything was completed on time and with minimal disruption to the rest of the house. Would certainly recommend!

We've had an awful experience with Surrey Lofts and Mark Grimshaw! Stay away from this company!
I've attached photos of what they considered the finished project.
They did a terrible job on our loft extension, then when we were on holiday their plumber flooded our downstairs and destroyed our back room. They're now denying any liability and we may have to take them to court, as the damage is extensive. One of the worst things was they actually stole money from our child's charity jar (yes we have evidence).
The process was terrible, the project manager useless, zero communication

We have been enjoying the 2 new bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms in our loft conversion for almost 4 years.
From start to finish and subsequently Mark and the Surrey Lofts team have done a great job. The build went according to plan, despite a period of severe storms and winds, and was kept within budget. I was constantly kept informed of progress and consulted on decisions big and small.
I was very pleased with the design of the new staircase and landing, which we needed to match to a feature stairs/ gallery landing in the main part of the house. We wanted it to look like a natural continuation

We have just finished a loft conversion with Surrey Lofts. I have to say the finished result is great, but the journey to get here was not quite as easy as they promise!
The guys that were actually doing the work were fantastic, hard working, good quality work etc.
The conversion itself has been great, but it has caused some damage to the rest of the house, all of which I was told “that is outside of our contract to fix”. For example ceilings with big cracks on the first floor. That isn’t the sales line from Mark who tells you everything will be sorted. In the end the builder fixed everything
