Range Heating is a registered business with OFTEC (Oil-Firing Technicians Association). The owner originally trained with a company specialising in AGA servicing and maintenance and completed product training at AGA's factory in Shropshire. He was also a Domestic Boiler Engineer with Heateam, the service division of Baxi/Potterton, Europe's third largest boiler manufacturer.

As with most domestic appliances, AGA Cookers require routine servicing and maintenance to ensure they continue to work safely and efficiently. It is recommended that Oil fired AGA's are serviced at least every six months. It has been widely reported that many AGA's are experiencing shorter servicing intervals with carbon build-up usually the cause of your appliance losing temperature.
The Worcester Greenstar Camray range of High Efficiency Condensing Boilers have experienced probelms with baffle removal from the primary heat exchanger. This is due in the main to lack of regular maintenance and if these appliances are neglected then the extraction of baffles, essential for cleaning and ensuring the flueways remain clear, can be problematic due to the build-up of sulphur (a by-product of the combustion process).
A I rarely recommend people but have no hesitation in recommending Andrew Owen as a competent and professional service engineer. He took over our servicing from an "old school" service engineer who carefully chose to whom he would hand over the business. Andew has the same values as my previous engineer and I value my relationship with Andrew.
