This St. Mawes Grey Wool Scatter Back Chesterfield Snuggle Chair is one of our newest scatter backs that is Comfortable, Modern and Unique. Awful service from Abode Sofas / Oswald & Pablo. Would not recommend using them for any chairs. The quality of goods isn't too bad, but the service is absolutely shocking. Matthew at Abode Sofas has no care about his customers of helping them out. Ordered a Sofa in June 2021. Was given two delivery dates and no one turned up. Chased and chased (very hard to get hold of on the phone or email) and apparently they couldn't deliver as the fabric wasn't in - promised two dates for delivery before they had the fabric!
Eventually taken delivery in November, with no discount of customer support.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
I can not stress this enough.
Trying to sum up my experience with abode sofas/oswald and pablo ltd (they're one and the same) in a brief review is going to be very difficult but please bear with me!
My initial experience was positive. They couldn't help me enough. It started at the end of January 2021 and I decided (against my better judgement) to order with them on 01st February 2021 and paid £716 deposit by bank transfer.
I was given a quoted delivery date of 8 - 10 weeks from order.
That didn't happen.
Then came the no contact, the waiting for an idea of when the

**AVOID THIS COMPANY** Yes they apparently make a nice product (in photos). I ordered a chair from them (Oswald & Pablo/Adobe sofas) in January 2021 and paid for it in full, waited for its manufacture and was contacted for delivery on 25th May 2021. On the day of delivery I received an email cancelling it stating 'transport difficulties', I have heard nothing since. I have tried calling, emailing and contact through social media, they have absolutely zero customer service, they never answer the phone or respond to emails. Abode did a fantastic job on my custom built sofas. I had two triple seaters in a grey/green leather and velvet finish made and an extra wide full Green leather wingback chair. The quality of the furniture is superb. The sofas are very comfortable to sit on. Abode were very good on communications as I had many questions before ordering and flexible on delivery as I had to delay it twice and the delivery team was professional and friendly. I recommend this firm 100% and was delighted to be able to support a local firm in these difficult times.

Terrible Customer Service, Ignorant Management. Review for Oswald & Pablo, also trading under Abode Sofas:
Ordered and paid in full in September, promised delivery before Christmas. They made and then tried to deliver the wrong sofa! Despite the failure there was no compensation, no gesture of goodwill, no sofa and despite multiple emails and attempted calls, I still have no idea if/when it is due? Furthermore, neither delivery driver wore a face mask when they tried to deliver the wrong sofa and walked straight into my house with no PPE.

Absolute joke of a company. Bought a sofa which we have now had 12 months. Within 2 months the patches were fraying and quality was poor at best. After trying to contact for weeks to request a resolution they requested a 50% refund to appease us. We agreed to that but never received our money. Matthew is the biggest coward, when we went to view the sofa he was a true salesman but he is nothing of the sort. He will not answer our calls but will text my wife back. We have sent a ccj through the courts which they have ignored. Do not buy a sofa from these people. They look fantastic but are just not

Ordered a sofa back in August 2017.
Knew this company for years and always wanted a modern chesterfield sofa.
Sofa arrived all very good until we realised that it didn’t have enough legs to support the large sofa, it had only four legs and nothing in the middle.
So we contacted them which was tricky as they never answer the phone or email. In the interim we had to support the middle of the sofa on books because even sitting on it. It felt like a trampoline.
It took 3 weeks for them to send some spare legs to us. Which should of just screwed in.
But they didn’t, again trying to get hold

This is the most unprofessional company, I have ever dealt with. My sofa arrived around a year ago, everything was fine until the corners started bursting apart under the cover. On Tuesday the 29th April 2018 at 13.14 pm I contacted the company via text message to Matthew Coleman, as I failed to get a response via email or messaging via their selling outlet on ebay. Today my sofa was to have been returned to me this morning 13/07/2018 as arranged with Josh. I spoke to Matthew this morning who informed me it would be the last drop off today.

This company went above and beyond for me. The communication with Emma and Josh was fantastic. They are a wonderful business and it was great to be able to go into the factory and see the products from start to finish. They have a wonderful array of furniture which if I had the room I would have taken much more than needed !! Thank you for a wonderful suite and for your drivers struggling with it to ensure that it fitted. I will definitely be recommending you when people ask about my beautiful sofas.
