We have been in the leather and furniture business for well over 100 years and are trusted by customers as diverse as the Ministry of Defense and Hilton Hotels. We are privileged to have recently been appointed as manufacturing partners to the Victoria & Albert museum to design and build a unique range of sofas under their own brand.
We are experts in the production of fabric and leather sofas; our small workshop is staffed by time served craftsmen and our models are made from locally sourced fillings and timber frames. As one of the few remaining bespoke sofa manufacturers in the North West we can tailor our sofas to our customers' needs and are small enough to give genuine care and attention to individual orders.
Here you will find a variety of sofas from our Home collections made in a huge array of materials with leathers from our specialised sister company, Neumann Leathers, and fabrics from well know fabric houses such as Warwick and Covertex. Our sales team are always on hand to guide you through the various designs, sizes, colours, and many other options, from different types of cushion fillings to a multitude of feet designs.
At Newman & Bright our products are manufactured to the highest quality and we are confident that you will enjoy your sofas problem free. Before leaving our factory, all our sofas are inspected to ensure they are in top condition. We will guarantee the integrity of the structure and materials of the product for a period of five years.
Our deliveries are handled by specialist furniture carriers and are all "two-man white-glove" deliveries. Standard corner suites are classed as 2 items for delivery, other sizes may incur an additional charge. I do not know where to begin, I ordered a 2 seater Gatsby Sofa and Armchair last year in August. I had a decorator booked but got let down. Sam, at Newman and Bright very kindly kept the sofa and chair in storage for me at no extra charge. I could not get a Decorator until July this year, Sam still held everything in storage until a week ago and then it was delivered. I cannot tell you how fantastic and thrilled I am about these two items. The workmanship is excellent, the quality of the leather is absolutely top notch.
I cannot praise this Company enough, I would definitely recommend to everyone

If you want to have an extraordinary choice of fabric coupled with fantastic style and quality workmanship , made in England, look no further than Newman and Bright for your furniture. We even had photos during the process to build our beautiful sofas to keep us up to date. Our Art Deco sofas are everything we hoped for and couldn't find any where else but Newman and Bright, we would recommend this company very much.

(Pictures attached). I needed a corner couch of specific sizing and the usual well-known furniture shops did not have the right combination I needed. I decided to look for a local place which could make custom sofas – pricey but was sure the premium would be worth it.
I found Newman & Bright website, it looked convincing so I took the time to go their store and see some sofas. What was on display was excellent.
I specified the needed sofa with Rafi, paid the 50% deposit (£1,492.50) and excitedly awaited delivery date. The service over the phone was appalling – only backing down when I asked

I live in Kendal, quite far away from an major city and I wanted to order a custom created Chesterfield sofa. I was googling online and found Newman Bright and I actually drove all the way up and I am so glad I came in person.
I spoke to Rafi who was really helpful and knowledgeable, showing me why my living room would need something bright and not too dark a colour.
I just got the suite yesterday, and it is lookign as kingly as ever. I definitely recommend Newman And Bright for this kind of thing.
