Amazing showroom. The view of the factory was great. It was amazing to see how your sofa was made. Lots of sofas and styles to try in the showroom. The lead time was a bit lengthy (but isn’t everything at the moment?) but well worth waiting for. The delivery was as agreed, on time and all packaging taken away. Being a muppet. We ordered the Harrington Corner sofa 4x3 and the Winged Armchair with footstool.
All items are finished to an extremely high standard. They are exactly what we wanted. I dealt with the sales staff on the phone a couple of times to get the order right, and they were very polite and helpful.
The delivery guys were also top notch, very friendly and stay distanced as delivery occurred during lockdown.
Would highly recommend.

We ordered a Drake 2.5 seater sofa in Dune Fudge leather and a matching Imperial armchair and two months after delivery we are still delighted with both of them. Delivery was actually a little ahead of what had been promised and the quality and look of the pieces is very good. Being made in the UK is a bonus as well.

Terrible customer service. Rude, threatening delivery drivers with no PPE. We were delivered an incomplete corner unit that we had waited 4 months for. Delivery drivers said it wouldn’t fit through the door(a door order we had measured and according to the English Sofa Company was big enough and which we managed to fit through the door when they… had gone). Harassed us to sign a delivery note (which we didn’t do) for 2 pieces of a corner unit which we couldn’t see because they hadn’t unwrapped and assembled them. ESC were informed and did not respond to phone calls

Appalling customer care !! We placed our order for two sofa's at just over £4,000, with a 'Guaranteed delivery for Christmas' promise. Over two weeks later we were told the fabric is now out of stock, but offering us a totally different colour, (green, blue, or grey, instead of aubergine). Told the fabric would be in before Christmas and our sofa'… s should still be here in time. Then told they 'might be after Christmas'. Now been told the fabric is not in until 18th January, meaning our sofa's should be here some time in February. When I complained I was sent a copy of their T&

I ordered a fantastic value sofa bed from The English Sofa Company, the quality of the item itself is first class and the process of ordering and delivery was also excellent. The delivery men had the difficult task of getting it upstairs however they managed just that! I contacted them afterwards as one of the feet had been damaged in transit, they quickly responded and sent a new foot out to me! Thank you, Luke

I came across the English Sofa Company online when looking for a replacement to my rather worn but much loved old sofa. I discovered that they made a sofa almost identical to my old one and in a wide choice of fabric and leathers. I live in London and was therefore not able to visit the showroom but decided to take a risk as the price was so… competitive. I heard nothing from the company for 8 weeks and nervously called to check all was ok and was informed that my sofa had been dispatched that morning. Brought the Sofa in lockdown as the shops were closed. The people were very friendly and helpful. Information was clear and this was for an extension I was building, so the timing was very important. They delivered on time and with out fuss. I was worried it would not fit through the doors so they made the chair and settle with the arms removed and I bolted them on in the room. Very easy to do and totally painless. It’s super comfy, and often to comfy to get up very pleased.

Received my sofa promptly and at a reasonable price. Quality is relatively of a good standard. Delivery men were very competent and helpful. Colour of sofa very different to photos on website so do get your swatch samples, call centre advisors were adequate in responding to queries. All in all a good service from The English Sofa Company.

We spent well over £2,000 on a three piece suite just over two years ago. It was the second suite we have purchased from this company. Thje first suite is still going strong and has been passed to relatives. The cushions on the second suite have been sagging for some time. We recently got in touch with the company and asked for some help. We just got told to buy new cushions. We also sent a photo of one of the back cushions from one of the chairs which was sagging and crooked. The company said it did not see what the problem was. We are extremely disappointed with the quality of this second purchase

Ordered a sofa, sofa bed and footstool. They kept to schedule in build, delivery delayed because Covid 19 lock down by delivery company. We have them now and thanks to both companies for a great job. Very pleased with furniture and the two sofas match very well and hard to tell difference. Only omission is possible wood floor protection, maybe a future option, so found brown 5mm felt pads on ebay which have strong adhesive. Any conversations with The English Sofa Company have been very good and queries settled.

We ordered a 2 and 3 seater of the Drake Nordic Sofa and we are absolutely in love with them. There is so much choice for fabric and leather options! We opted for the Cambio Royal Velvet and we adore our sofas in our home!! Everything from placing the order right through to delivery was a bliss. The guys on delivery were super helpful in getting the items in and the sofas were everything we ever wanted. Would recommend The English Sofa Company!!

We bought 2 sofas, same design and material. Easy to order and delivered on time. Delivery/installation team very professional. Both sofas well made and look good. One complaint....both sofas are significantly less wide than we expected from the dimensions given on the website, which we used when deciding on the sizes to order. If we had known this when ordering we could well have decided to choose wider sofas.
