Michael Holden Chartered Surveyors & Chartered Building Engineers is a bespoke private practice that offers a variety of property and construction services. The practice contains members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Chartered Association of Building Engineers, and Chartered Institue of Building.
Michael is a former member of the RICS World Governing Body and also a board member of the ISVA (Independent Surveyors and Valuers Association). Building Survey (full structural survey). This high-level inspection of a building covering defects, maintenance, refurbishment, and adaptations. This is suitable for older and/or larger properties.
We have five RICS Registered Valuers within the practice. We therefore offer a range of valuation reports and services. These include the likes of; residential valuations e.g. Help to Buy, Mortgage Valuations and Right to Buy, commercial valuations, expert witness and CPO. We offer a variety of commercial services such as valuations, condition surveys and taxation work.

I recently purchased my first home and instructed Michael and his team to carry out a level 2 report. The quality and service from his team was outstanding and the surveyor picked up on several issues which allowed me to re-negotiate the asking price saving me thousands! I would highly recommend. 5 star service and company.

An enormous thank you for all the work and help of you and your team Michael. You've been truly fantastic. The comprehensive report detail and subsequent conversations on the condition of the property allowed me to negotiate a significant sum from the purchase price. The survey and the time you've generously given me by phone conversation has meant I was able to proceed with the purchase with my eyes wide open.
