Established in 1920 Northern Radiators are one of the oldest radiator Companies in the UK. Established by Paul White and now in the hands of Nick White who has already served 35 years with the Company. Oil coolers are found on many different types of engines and are manufactured in many different ways but they all have the same job, trying to cool oil, this may be engine, hydraulic or transmission. A car oil cooler cools the engine oil and can get damaged or just suffer from old-age and start leaking oil.
Heaters, like car radiators, can choke up due to build up of deposits or dirt in the cooling system. The options for repair start from a chemical descale, if the heater is too badly blocked we can replace the core with a high performance equivalent. We also stock heater matrix for most makes and model of vehicle and if we don't stock it, we can usually get it for the next day.
The condenser radiator keeps you cool in the summer. Due to its front mounted position it is susceptible to stone and collision damage which means the gas in the air conditioning system escapes and the a/c system stops working. Due to the high operating pressure condensers are often not repairable; we do keep large stocks of new units and can remanufacture most units within a week.
Intercoolers are now fitted to most modern diesel and performance engines and come in many different shapes and sizes. A leaking intercooler will affect your engines performance and fuel economy. We have many different solutions from repair to the supply of Genuine Mishimoto units that have the benefit of a lifetime warranty.
