Quoted for the job over the phone after being given the exact details of the issue as we knew what the problem was. The guy turned up and immediately said he would not have the part and we would have to pay for a second callout charge. He also stated that this always happens as "the girls in the office " always assume they have all parts in the van! NEVER USE. This is also part of a larger company called Marchwood appliance repairs.

Absolute waste of time and money. "Engineer" couldn't remove fixing screws which resulted in them being rounded off so now only removable by drilling out. Also when I made the booking I was told they carried spare parts. This was not the case and if removal had been successful it would only have been to assess which parts were required. Requiring another appointment and no usable hob in the meantime. Also I made the appointment with Fleet Appliance Services not Matchwood !

Do not use this organisation. 2 mornings wasted - 1st no show said he had called but no missed calls on phone; 2nd office said we were on list but when he arrived, in afternoon after further phone calls, said we were not. did not repair microwave- said it needed parts and office would phone with costs. 1.5 weeks later no phone call, despite phoning and asking. second appliance cooker with intermittent fan - took cooker out removed cooling fan, briefly washed under tap put back in told that the fan running intermittently was not a problem. however since doing that we can feel a vibration through

Despite giving the make and model of our tumble drier and describing the problem (drum not turning) the engineer arrived without a new belt citing it not being standard van stock. So over £120 and no fix (he also looked at our washing machine and said it was not worth fixing for that price). Over a week later we finally get a call back wanting around £30 for a new tumble drier belt and a whole separate payment for a second visit. Bought the piece ourselves for £10 and fitted it. Terrible experience and a complete waste of money in my opinion.

Very very expensive and slow service. Have never known having to pay upfront for parts. Parts are also very expensive. My machine has been out of use now for 3 weeks. Just looked on the net and found machine drainage hose for £14.50. Have just been charged over £50 by this company for the same item. Absolute rip off. If i had bought the part myself they wanted to charge me £45 for fitting it. I will never ever use this company again or reccomend it to anybody. Bloody disgrace. On the plus note the engineers have been brilliant and really deserve to work for a better company. Absolutely livid
