Katy and Peter welcome you to the Vintage Sofa Company. We are a family run company based at the historic Jowler Mill in the heart of the industrial South Pennines. We invite you to visit us and enjoy a cup of coffee while you browse our fabulous range of vintage sofas, chairs, footstools, rugs and much more.
Unlike high street retailers, Vintage Sofa uses premium clearance 'end of line' velvets, leather hides and Harris Tweed in our awesome range of sofas, armchairs and footstools. By upcycling materials that are being discontinued from high end brands, and stores, we are able to create vintage style furniture that you will love.
Our showroom is situated between Hebden Bridge, Haworth and Halifax in the steep sided Luddenden Valley. Due to the steep gradients and narrow roads, it is unsuitable for HGV access, but we believe this just adds to the charm and character of the location.

Great Experience . We had visited several sofa companies lead times were long . Not only were the team at Vintagesofa company very welcoming and knowledgeable, they had a fantastic range of stock sofas and chairs . We found 2 perfect sofas plus a fabulous statement chair . All delivered within 6 days and our living room is transformed.

Great customer service bought my sofa and chair online. Very helpful and attentive, fantastic response to all my queries. Very happy with my sofa and chairs beautifully made, looks stunning and very… comfortable. Delivery was so quick as in stock could pick a suitable day and time slot, could also track the delivery in real time which was really helpful. The delivery guys were fantastic too. Would definitely recommend fantastic service and very reasonably priced.

The company on its website prides itself on telling you all its sofas are british made. however the 2 we received were built in china. apparently they sell cheaper furniture but dont tell the customer its chinese, so you think youre buying british and british quality. we complained and to be fair we were more than satisfied with the response we had which also included the firm clarifying their website to state a sofa's country of origin. the five stars go to their customer service response

Absolutely amazing customer service and an amazing showroom. Well worth the visit to see all the pieces. The furniture is comfortable and well made and even better made in the UK by a family company. The team are informative and gave us great suggestions. Will definitely recommend and will use them again.

Just went to have a look around . But ended up buying some beautiful chairs. The furniture is all of the highest quality It was a pleasure to to shop and buy in a place where you are made to feel very welcome. Kate and Peter were the nicest people you could meet. I will be shopping there again if I need anything else.

Wow! What a fantastic place. My wife and I have never seen such a collection of beautiful furniture at fantastic prices. We wanted something different and we got just that. We bought a Tetrad McKenzie chair and a 2 seat chesterfield which is the comfiest ever. The quality is amazing.
The staff are also amazing. There to help but leave you alone to browse.
We have since returned to buy a footstool and a large stags head for the wall.
I can not recommend this place highly enough.
Delivery was seamless too. We used Anyvan which they recommended and it was excellent and a great price.

I've just received my Corner Sofa today and it is so beautiful that I can't quite believe it's mine! I spotted the Vintage Sofa Company and thought I'd take a chance. From the very beginning, their Customer Service has been flawless.
I was very unsure about using a small company but I fell in love with the sofa and wanted to support a small business.
I'm so over the moon with my Sofa; it is stunning and after a lot of research, realised this would cost three times as much anywhere else.
The quality of fabric and plushness of the cushions is superb.
