He read rural and urban estate management at degree level, and started work for the Forestry Commission in Cardiff in 1973. He moved to the Property Services Agency in Brecon, Mid Glamorgan County Council and the Valuation Office again in Cardiff, but in 1990 returned to local government at Caerphilly, where he was a cost centre manager for over 12 years.

Excellent service from Arthur.... prompt responses to emails and very professional. Met him outside the property after the survey for a chat. He gave me details of key concerns and answered all of my questions in a very open and honest way. The report was extremely detailed. Would highly recommend him.

I am very pleased with Arthur's service. His prices are competitive and fair. He carried out a professional and extremely thorough survey, and produced the report within a timely manner. Photos of the roof were taken with a drone and I found this particularly helpful. I am most pleased with my due payment being contributed towards a charity of Arthur's choice. I would highly recommend his service and I will be using him again for potential future surveys.
