Although you will be paying a fee for my services, the savings you can achieve by being in control of your own design and specification should more than cover my fees, so you win every way.
Designing a kitchen or bathroom can be extremely time consuming and requires a different set of skills and equipment. If you are a cabinetmaker or joiner, have you considered referring you clients to an independent designer? I can deal with the design brief, advise on layout, styling and appliances, and then provide a detailed plan and elevations for you to build and install.
