Jamie Knight is a family-run Carpentry & Joinery business, based in Gloucestershire, specialising in bespoke shaker kitchens and fitted furniture which includes bookcases, alcove storage and wardrobes. All of our high-quality products are made to order at our Cheltenham workshop. Jamie has been a carpenter & Joiner for over 20 years, fitting kitchens and building products for a number of high-end kitchen and building companies.
Jamie Knight makes beautiful, durable and practical kitchens by hand, to completely bespoke designs. We don't have set ideas, so come and talk to us about what you want, and we will make it happen! Our kitchen cabinets are made from birch plywood or hardwood-faced plywood. We can make them as large or small as you want, with perfectly sized cabinet depths and widths, with no awkward fillers and wasted space.
At our Cheltenham workshop, we can Hand paint or spray finish your Handmade kitchen in any finish from eggshell to high gloss. While most companies limit themselves to just 10 or 15 colours, we have a unlimited choice, including brands like Farrow & Ball, Little Greene and Dulux Heritage, plus many more.
A kitchen isn't a kitchen without the appliances. We offer competitive rates on quality kitchen appliances and will source a range of good quality ovens, hobs and white goods in all price ranges, to complete your bespoke kitchen and make it really work for you. We offer Siemens integrated white goods at competitive prices.
We can supply a huge range of sinks and taps, whether you're looking for something contemporary or traditional. We fit sinks from Villeroy & Boch, Kohler, Lansdowne, Regis and Abode, so it doesn't matter whether you want Belfast and farmhouse sinks or stainless steel, we've got something to suit your style and your price range.

From the start of our dream kitchen project up to the final day of installation Jamie couldn’t have been more helpful, always quick to respond & resolve queries we had along the planning stage & throughout the journey. The attention to detail & standard of workmanship is outstanding & the compliments we have received since have reflected this, our kitchen is truly stunning. I read the other reviews that were written prior to me writing this and I agree with them all.
We looked at various options for our kitchen, from high street brands to a kitchen broker however neither fit our needs or were flexible enough to work with during these times of Covid. Jamie worked up our initial design that was modified multiple times over the course of a week, all done over email or messages....worked brilliantly when looking after 2 children and working from home.

Jamie made and designed our kitchen and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. There were some really tricky elements that Jamie and his team took in their stride, going above and beyond to find solutions and made the process so much easier. Our kitchen is stunning, the craftsmanship, attention to detail and quality I don’t think you could match, certainly not in any mainstream kitchen supplier. We now have a beautiful handmade kitchen that is unique for us and will stand the test of time. I would 100% recommend Jamie and his team.

We had some fitted wardrobes made for our bedroom by Jamie. He was so helpful with choosing the right materials and style. He was able to design them to match some existing furniture we already had too. Nothing was too much trouble and his communication and customer service was brilliant. The service, attention to detail and craftsmanship we received from Jamie and his team on our kitchen project was fantastic. We went to Jamie Knight with a rough kitchen plan and he turned it into exactly the shaker style kitchen we wanted on a budget we could afford. Nothing was too much trouble and Jamie was always on hand to answer our questions. We've received many comments about how wonderful it is. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jamie Knight kitchens.

We had been looking around at kitchens and couldn’t find anything that fitted our brief. Many compromises were being made and at the end of it, it really wasn’t the kitchen we had set our heart on. We were then recommended Jamie and all that changed. He was able to take our ideas and add to them which has resulted in a beautiful kitchen. I am writing this review to say how delighted I am with the bedroom cupboards Jamie Knight built for me at my home. I was so impressed with the finished standard of the work, the cupboards look superb and a really top quality finish. I was also impressed with the initial help and suggestion for the design, where his advice was invaluable and the end product was just what I wanted to do the job and very grateful for Jamie for this.
