The true measure of the quality of a Company is not just when things go right, but their response when there is a problem. E J Carpets supplied and fitted a carpet for us, but it was subsequently found to have a small manufacturing fault. Without hesitation they replaced the whole carpet, and did so very promptly and at no extra cost. This was customer service at its best. A very satisfactory experience and a lovely carpet!

If you are thinking of using these guys, do. I’ve had carpets fitted on two separate occasions. Granted I went for more expensive carpets (my own decision), but the carpets look brilliant and match perfectly the wacky, off square victorian spaces I had them fitted to.
The fitters on both occasions have been top notch - friendly, informative, tidy and super polite. The runner I had done for my stairs looks spot on and everything ran smoothly.
And I’m very picky ;)

I had visited a couple of other shops before coming to EJ Carpets and I was immediately impressed with how they took the time to answer all my questions and explain everything to me. I had never bought carpet before and they gave great advice about which products were suitable for a stair runner and explained about different materials on the stairs and how the width of carpet on a roll affects price and installation processes. They came out and measured everything up, sent me four different quotes so I could decide what I wanted to do, and once I ordered my carpet it was delivered and fitted the

Brilliant work and service from picking out my vinyls in the shop to Gary coming to my property to measure up and explain the procedure to Nigel and Charlie's workmanship. I just cannot praise this company sufficiently. How many businesses would call you the day before to say that "we said we'd arrive between 9.30 and 10am, and normally we would be expecting to be at the 9.30 end of that, but with some roadworks in the area, I'm really sorry, but we're going to be close to 10am. Is that ok?" Please would the likes of John Lewis take note....
Our fitters were not only timely, but they were very polite, extremely tidy, and incredibly clean, and clearly very proud of the job they did making a not-quite-six year old's bedroom perfect

Firstly I'm not sure why the address on here says Thamesmead as this business is in Forest Hill.
My husband and I bought our carpets and had them fitted by EJ Carpets recently. Their service has been absolutely outstanding, nothing has been too much trouble despite the fact we've had our carpets fitted in different rooms at different times and ended up asking them to keep half the carpet in storage for a year!
In terms of price, my husband was convinced the likes of Carpetright would be cheaper with their eye catching 70% off sale nonsense but when we went along and compared like
