Most homes have single phase 230V supplies meaning the maximum power of chargers suitable are 7kw/32amps. Chargers are supplied by a 6mm cable wired directly from your fusebox/consumer unit and must be on their own dedicated circuit. Depending on the condition and capacity of your fusebox/consumer unit an additional unit may need to be installed to supply the electric vehicle circuit.

Paul and his team expertly installed a charger in Glasgow basement parking from 1st level flat consumer unit. Full guidance was given on charger choice for security and remote control. Our confidence in PWS lead us to a 2nd charger installation in simpler house garage location. Again guidance on the appropriate charger.
Our car has arrived and we have intuitively (not instinctive to us!) used both chargers instantly.

Very pleased with EV charger installation. Paul carried out survey via video call and raised quote from there. Guys communicated well prior to arrival and then carried out a very neat and tidy job, both inside and out. Paul assisted with EV grant submissions and invoiced c/w with all relevant certs once finished. Happy to use again in the future and no issues recommending to others.

Good tradespeople are hard to find, so I'm delighted to have used Paul and his team at PWS. From talking through the options with Paul to the main installation with Mark and Alan everything was done professionally. A new consumer unit and test plus a myenergi Zappi EV car charger. Neatly done without mess and everything explained including the OZEV grants.
I'm picky about work on my house but this job was A1 and would recommend PWS to anyone.

Paul has been excellent throughout the process. I had 3 chargers fitted at my business premises and 1 charger at my home. On both occasions the electricians were on time, courteous anf professional. They left a very tidy job and work area. I was extremely happy with the job in my home as they had to remove skirting boards and hide the wire. When i returned home you would not have known they had even been except for the arrival of my nice new charger on the wall! Big thanks to the Team!

Both Paul and Chris who I dealt with were very professional in every aspect of their dealings with me whether that be communication, quote, paperwork or the actual installation of the EV home charger itself.
I should also note they cleaned up after themselves which is important.

We are very happy with the installation of our EC charger. Paul came out and explained the process fully to us, was knowledgeable on the grants we were eligible of, and spent time talking us through the options of the different chargers and their relative merits and features. On the day of installation, Paul turned up at the agreed time, was extremely professional, put down mats to protect our floor and the finished instillation was very neat, wires concealed, only leaving a small amount of touch up decoration. He stayed until the charger and app was working fully, to communicate with the box and

Recently had an EV charger installed by PWS Electrical Services Ltd.
Cannot fault Paul and his team who advised me at every stage of purchase from selecting what charger was right for me to helping with the Energy Trust grant application.
Selected the Andersen A2 charger in the end.
Mark and Alan who came to do the fitting were great and it was refreshing to deal with guys who were actually knowedgable and passionate about what they were doing.
It was great chatting with the guys and hope I didn't distract them too much.
