We undertake a wide variety of work from large walling work to fitting stone window sills.

Our Welsh stone is sourced from Monmouthshire Stone a working Delph Quarry, a small family run business situated in the heart of Monmouthshire South Wales, situated between Abergavenny and Monmouth. Darren did a great job of tidying up some stonework on our house. It was very worn and had worried me for years so to finally have it sorted is a great relief. It looks good as new! Darren got back to me quickly and managed to fit me in much earlier than I expected. I would highly recommend and I am going to get him back to do some more work.

We requested Darren to remove a decommissioned extractor fan in the fireplace and close/replace the broken and chipped bricks inside the fireplace and in the external wall. He did an outstanding job by perfectly matching locally reclaimed bricks and using suitable mortar for a period property.
We were amazed not to be able to find where the fan and cage were as the repointing, colour, shade and "patina" of the bricks were blending perfectly with the surrounding original bricks... Positive: Professionalism
Darren has just repaired a stone windowsill and built a new doorstep to match the existing stonework on my old house. I would recommend him highly as being professional, skilled and very knowledgeable. I will definitely ask A D Stonework again if I need any other work doing. The finished work looks fab!
