Services
MULTIZONE water underfloor heating systems are designed for areas that are split into one or more heated zones. Our Multizone Underfloor Heating System is designed to provide individual room temperature control and is the system of choice for houses, hotels, nursing homes, schools, hospitals - or in fact any building that has two or more separate rooms or zones.
UNIZONE Water Underfloor Heating Systems are designed for any single zone or open plan area. Our Unizone Underfloor Heating System is designed to provide an underfloor heating solution in conservatories, kitchens, extensions or any single zone or open plan area. A Unizone system can be fitted to work independently in an extension alongside a radiator system in the main building.
With no need for wall mounted emitters, there's no restriction on where you can place furniture in a room. That means every square metre of your home can be fully utilised. An underfloor heating system is more efficient to run than a traditional radiator system. That's because the water runs at a low temperature and the heat is distributed evenly across the room.
Water entering an underfloor heating system needs to be supplied at the appropriate temperature for the type of floor construction being heated. If the water temperature is too high it could overheat the floor and cause discomfort to people using the building. The simplest method of controlling the UFH temperature is to use a mixing valve to blend the hot supply water with the colder return water.
An underfloor heating system can be fitted into a solid or timber suspended floor construction. Numerous different floor constructions are available but all floor constructions rely on the use of insulation BELOW the pipework to prevent downward heat losses. Adequate insulation must ALWAYS be fitted and if there is no room for insulation in the floor construction then you should not consider underfloor heating as an option.
