It is a bit of a minefield out there trying to research the different boilers that are available to you. Do you opt for a local plumber who may have a cheaper product but fails on the aftercare service and higher repair bills when your in need of some assistance. Or do you opt for the larger corporate boiler company and end up paying far more for than you really need to.
System boilers are very similar to gas (aka conventional/heat-only/traditional) boilers. It directly heats your central heating system, producing hot water stored in the hot water cylinder - which in turn is usually tucked away inside an airing cupboard. Like combination boilers it's a little more compact than a traditional boiler, thanks to its mainly pre-built components.

Green homes grant voucher issued and so much communication when it came to redeeming this. But after it was approved, a year had gone and there was still no works installed. Once a month they would say they will be in touch soon and there is a shortage of boilers but now they are completely mute and don’t reply at all. Especially Anna Baker id like to point out

Couldn't give zero. Do not use this company. They installed a boiler incorrectly in my house and taken 3 years to rectify. The boiler was wired incorrectly. Switch line was linked out and the heating was permanently on. Stay well clear. Now trying to get me to pay a cancellation fee even though they provided by nothing within contract. No breakdown cover, no 365 day maintenance, no working boiler, no working heating... STAY AWAY

So I started with enq to the company in JANUARY 2021, I was advised by their team to apply for a green homes grant, this would mean a £7500.00 green homes voucher for A air source heat pump and boiler. The advisor knew I had no heating or hot water.
Fast forward there were several mistakes made in the quote from Hassle free, it needed hto be revised 3 times, needed to stick with the company if not I had to start again. I had to continually fight for them to update the errors with weeks of waiting between and constantly being told they were not wrong (they were).
Finally end in sight I was told

Anyone thinking to use this company please avoid like this Plague very very corrupt scampish company. I'm still waiting for a call back to update my bank details but instead of them calling me back they and me threatening emails to say they are going to take me to court.

Choosing this company has been a mistake from start to finish, when they installed my boiler 5 years ago they made a mistake which caused leaking and damage to my kitchen ceiling, then they refused to pay for the repair, now im selling a house and I want a service, you have to email or leave an answer message, they call you and tell you to expect a call to book in a boiler service and the call never comes, cant even get hold of them to pay off the rest of my deal. The name of this company is completely ironic

This company is unbelievable. Do not use them. Took my deposit a month ago. Engineer cancelled installation 3 times... on the day they were ment to come. No customer service. No care or attention. We have 3 under 5 year old children in house with no hot water. They do not care. I took 3 days off work and lost 300 pounds. They do not care. Sure this is a sham company and now waiting for my money back. Do not use them no matter how cheap. They will not come.

Avoid this company, there are far better boiler companies out there with far better reviews. Been waiting 9 months to get boiler serviced but all you get in covid this covid that. Called them two weeks ago reporting a fault which is down to overdue service according to a gas safe engineer friend, promised to be in touch very soon but no nothing, now boiler has stopped working completely. Cancelling my direct debit, breach of contract, take me to court you know you will lose.

Our Worcester Boiler was only fitted in mid-2016.
Yesterday it stopped functioning completely & then drained all of it's water onto our floor.
We called Hassle Free Boilers immediately to ask for an engineers to come, just after 6pm yesterday (Friday).
Hassle Free promised during the call that their engineer would visit us this afternoon.
He hasn't. Hassle Free boilers have not contacted us proactively either to explain.
Various calls over the last 2 hours by us to Hassle Free's call centre have put us into a circle of re-describing the fault, discussing what exactly constitutes "a lot of

We've had our boiler now for 16 months and, it has never missed a beat.
Hassle free were great, from the initial comprehensive survey to delivery and installation.
The local contractor from Norwich was efficient and tidy and even moved some pipes so that our new kitchen would look better cosmetically even if it meant having to listen to his screams in the loft when he came up against a spider !!. I would thoroughly recommend Hassle free for your new boiler.

I really liked the concept from hassle free boilers where you can avoid making a big lump sum layout by making a monthly payment to cover the boiler, installation and support and maintenance. The sales process worked really well and my first appointment was booked for just 2 working days after I signed up. This was where my problems began. Two chaps turned up as promised but they were unable to do anything as they were missing parts and needed scaffolding to get on my roof. Another appointment was booked for the following Monday.
