Replacement of all windows and porch to a Cheshire cottage, our HP, high-performance flush casement windows, double opening, no centre mullions. Double glazed with Planitherm energy saving glass, factory paint finished, the door Oak stained. Latest replacement front entrance door and frame, reproducing the existing, in hardwood, factory paint finished externally, stained internally, refitting of original decorative corbels to the frame.

All our windows are produced to meet today's efficiency standards. Double glazed with highly efficient Planitherm low E glass coatings along with Argon and Krypton gas fill and warm edge bar.
Engineered timber is a three core-lamination of the solid wood which resists twisting and warping. Softwood, Swedish Redwood - This can be almost clear of knots and defects in the engineered form. We also offer doors made using solid wood core plywood blanks into which we can cut glazing apertures and create panels and mouldings, very stable and durable.

GBS have replaced original leaded windows in our 1930's house in Hazel Grove, Stockport in November 2020.
The whole service was outstanding, from the initial visit to the final installation. The quality of workmanship in the manufacture and installation was exceptional. The leaded lights were renovated and rebuilt into new double glazed units and this has retained the original look very well.
The team at GBS work together to provide a top class job and we can unreservedly recommend them.

We’re absolutely delighted with the work that GBS Joinery have done for us, replacing 39 wooden framed double glazed windows! Nigel, Dave and all the team provided an outstanding service. The workshop made really high quality windows, Andy and Ryan fitted them perfectly despite some very tricky shaped openings in our old house, and everything was finished off to a Five Star standard. We have no hesitation recommending GBS - nothing was too much trouble and this is just a really nice business and team to work with. A big thank you to everyone.
