We have a range of pressure treated timber that includes Carcassing, Sleepers, Agricultural Fencing Posts, Decking, Slate Battens, Rails and Log Lap. Our timber is treated to protect it from insect infestation e.g. Wood Worm and damaging fungal decay such as wet and dry rot which can significantly reduce the lifespan of the timber used or its structural integrity.
Longridge Timber have established an enviable reputation for our high standard of service and reliability and of course the quality of our timber. Our range of fencing posts is no exception. 15 years guarantee in ground contact for peace of mind because we only use UC4 treated Redwood. Our UC4 treated products are great value for money because of their long life expectancy, which saves on labour and the cost of replacing substandard posts.
We are able to source hardwoods such as Oak, Sapele, Cedar, Larch, Ash from all around the world. If you have a particular hardwood in mind or need advice about use and application, then please call one of our experts as we will be happy to help. As the wood is slow growing and is, therefore, more dense, hardwoods offer great durability, lifespan and strength, and are easier to maintain and clean.
Our collection of Softwood products includes regularised Carcassing and rough sawn unsorted Redwoods. All are stored under cover and with smoother, machined, regularised easy-edged finish, easier to handle and perfect for construction, framing and even for use within Children's play areas where the wood is regularly being handled or touched.
