Chesney's was founded over thirty years ago by Paul Chesney to mainly restore antique fireplaces back to their former glory. In the early 1990s they made a distinctive move into manufacturing reproductions of period fireplaces in natural material and iron together with creating contemporary designs to cater for the whole of the fireplace market.
Started in 1754, DRU Fires started as a simple factory, making pots and pans. These days they're one of the oldest industrial companies in the Netherlands! Since the 1960s DRU Fires have made gas heating appliances and now work in 3 countries across Europe, including the UK. In 1975, DRU Fires opened their first UK distributor in Manchester, supplying gas fires and wood stoves across the country.

Excellent firm, seamless service, absolutely delighted with our new fireplace , everything was sorted for us and Keegan the fitter and his apprentice were excellent. Keegan was friendly , extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I have 100% faith in this company and would recommend them highly. Also if there is a difficulty they are on it immediately. I looked at many fireplace studios prior to this one and I am so glad I used these .

Nicely laid out showroom made it easy to comfortably view all the different fireplaces and make our choice.
Communication was good and throughout the process emails and telephone calls were answered promptly.
Dean and Adam did a fantastic job installing the new fire and fireplace and quickly dealt with our questions and requests. And we appreciated the lesson in how to use our new fire :)
It looks amazing!

The fireplace studio has a fantastic array of high quality fireplaces. The staff were a pleasure to deal with and very attentive to my specific requirements.
The installation was very professional and tidy with a full demonstration on completion and also backed up with a competitive service plan.
If you are looking for a statement fireplace I would highly recommend popping in to take a look at what they have to offer!

In January 2021, The Fireplace Studio replaced a dated gas fire and surround with a modern gas stove. This work also involved building work and plastering, all of which was carried out in a professional manner and we are delighted with the results, would recommend The Fireplace Studio to anyone.
