Barras Home Improvements was established in 1987 and was originally a trade counter and retail showroom. Over the course of the first 10 years a further bathroom showroom was opened opposite the main showroom and offices and the trade counter was disbanded in favour of an entire retail showroom dedicated to kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and appliances.

I can't recommend Barras home improvements enough, we had them lay Amtico everywhere downstairs in our new home. From start to finish they were amazing, in their showroom they took the time to talk through the laying process explaining the different options and the different type of flooring. They advised us on what was best for us and not was best for their pocket which I always think is a great sign.

This is the second time we have have booked Barras Home Improvements to complete work in our home and again, we are absolutely thrilled with the result! Great job, couldn't be happier with the whole process from quote to completion. Not the easiest of jobs, I'm sure, with walls to be knocked down and re-plastered, and quite a bit of rewiring and plumbing, but the finished job with the wide open shower and marble tiles looks stunning. The staff were extremely helpful and clearly knew what they were doing. Can't talk more highly of our fitter who was always thinking one step ahead, discussing the issues that he could foresee in advance and getting our input at an early stage so we could both agree with what was going to work best.
