James visited to review the job, and clearly explained what needed to be done to resolve the issue with our roof. He provided a clear estimate of the cost, and explained when he would be able to do the job. He let me know when he was arriving, subject to weather which was understandable as there had been a couple of storms. He did a great job and again clearly explained what he’d done and why. I felt the price he charged was very fair and represented good value. I would happily recommend James.

He has also given us great advice and if work doesn't need doing, has said so rather than others who might try to get work when its not essential. After suffering a small leak in a ceiling after the recent wet weather, I contacted James Lucas to assess what work was needed last Friday 9 August. James called within a couple of hours diagnosing a split in the valley taking water from our roof.
James called on Monday 12 August, repaired the damage and cleared away debris from the area within a couple of hours. Such a quick response is excellent service. I recommend James to those wanting roofing repairs.

James recently did some gutter maintenance and fitted some new guttering for me. Prompt site visit to estimate costs followed by arrangement to suit me to complete the work. James turned up when he said he would, he worked hard and quickly in the rain ( weather test for gutters ) and did a good tidy job at a reasonable price. Have already asked him to do another job and would definitely recommend him.

James returned my call the same day and was able to fix our roof the very next afternoon. Provided photo/video evidence of what the problem was and how he sorted it.
