The Studio welcomes patients as part of an award-winning performance and participatory programme Arts for All. The project included installation of the steel deck to accommodate the 2 AHU, chiller and BMS panel on roof level to service the new endoscopy ward on Level 7. Reception area refurbishment including demolition of walls, strip-out (floor/ceilings) new doors + screens.
Conversion of existing office space to provide new ward bed bays and clinical examination rooms. Reconfiguration of various office and corridor areas to provide new reception for the X-ray department. Workings included all new M&E services flooring, wall cladding doors nurse call system and reception desk.

In just one day and half, we have moved 31 people, 19 computers, and diverted more than 10 phone lines. The palliative team and therapies team that moved yesterday were very happy and grateful for the support received. One of the consultants has emailed me just now saying that she was impressed about the quick, smooth relocation.
