I started in the roofing sector in 1985 and have worked in the industry all my career. Over the years I have seen many changes in both product & quality of installation. Back in the day, the most basic of product could be installed to the highest standard due to the city & guilds courses, which at the time were the industry standard.
Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral that has been used in construction since the 1940's, with over 5.3 million tonnes imported into the UK for use in construction materials this is a now huge problem. However, landfill can only take so much and with only 2 sites in the UK the cost of removal and landfill is rising all the time.
We manufacture and install our Guttercote system which has been specifically designed for the ever changing UK climate & the job in hand. We also have extensive experience in our field and can repair metal gutters that are rusted through or change spiggots to down pipes that have failed for example.
Metal roofs and walls can all be treated with Euro Polymers Eurotec ME and Cladcote systems to offer extended life spans of up to 20 years (unabridged warranty available). These systems repair the plastisol coating and protects the metal sheets from further UV degradation. When used in conjunction with out CEC- Cote (Cut Edge Corrosion Treatment) a full repair can be achieved to even rusted areas.
