Colin came to us many years ago from his position with Roofline and before then from a double glazing company called C R Smith. Tony is an extremely experienced Glass Technician has now moved up to his prominent position. Daniel has been with us since leaving school a long time ago. Served his time and became a Tradesman Joiner, he has moved up through our ranks to his present position as estimator for new windows and doors.
BFRC tested and approved UPVC windows in Edinburgh, supplied and installed by Viewforth Glazing. As well as being the first window created to gain the new 'A' Rating for energy efficiency, they were also the first fully reinforced double glazed window system to excel the tests. The Window Energy Ratings are a simple way of telling how energy efficient your new windows and doors can be.

Just a waste of time. The man came to measure our bathroom to fit a wall to wall mirror. He said he would email us with a quote the following week. No email came we called him and asked him about it again he said he would email, again no email.
We called and asked what the problem was and he said no staff but he would have staff in September. No call in September.
There was no communication. Terrible!!!

7 years ago I ordered timber windows from Viewforth glazing on the recommendation of another resident in the building.
They were provided and installed unpainted but treated with preservative (apparently). I was not advised to treat the windows but was told to paint them to my specification.
See my original order acceptance below which advises:
"All our traditional timber windows are treated with preservative and re-pointed with the original type of sand mastic. If any internal or external timber plates/fascia are required, they would have to be painted by others."
As per owner response below

I dont often write reviews, but this company takes the biscuit. I contacted them for someone to come round and give us a quote. The guy came when he said he would (one positive in the saga). Since then its been weeks of phoning and emailing to actually try and get the quote we were promised "by the end of the week". When I first emailed, I was told they had no note of anyone visiting me. Then when I gave more details they said the guy had "forgot to inform them". THEN a woman called to ask for my email (apparently the two departments of the same company dont talk to each other??) so she could send

Ridiculous service. I emailed for advice and sent through my measurements which was fine then got an email with a potential date for the work to be carried out then heard nothing back. I phone the company and they had nothing in the diary when i asked why nothing was in the diary I was told I could have phoned. Completely rude and will not be recommending this rude service.

If I could give 6 stars I would. I was badly let down by a framing company and was desperate to find someone who could supply glass the same day as my deadline was there are then. The folks at Viewforth were so incredibly helpful, friendly (with some comedians too!) and sympathetic to my situation — allowing me to come in there and then and collect the glass. I would highly recommend them and will be using them again in the very near future. Extremely affordable, excellent service. Thank you all.
