Established in 1991, greenfingers offers professional garden and grounds maintenance, garden design and construction and commercial soft landscaping throughout the Lothians, Borders and Fife. After studying at OAC Jason established the business in 1991, having initially concentrated on domestic garden maintenance and building up a considerable client base the business naturally evolved into commercial grounds maintenance and landscaping.
Your garden is a special place and we would like to help you keep it that way. With our Garden Maintenance service we send the same team to your garden every fortnight so you get to know our gardeners as if they were your own. This is a personal, friendly service from a local gardener which will help build a long term relationship.
We specialise in all things horticultural, you can rely on us to deliver a professional bespoke Grounds Maintenance service to help look after your landscape areas. We send the same team to your site every fortnight throughout the summer months so you get to know our gardeners. Our staff are uniformed to help with recognition and security.
At greenfingers we offer a full design, build and aftercare service, we take great pride in constructing gardens to the highest standard and work with many leading garden designers, landscape architects as well as being able to offer an in house design service, our landscapers are friendly skilled and approachable who thrive on challenging projects.
Civic Trees (Scotland) is a division of greenfingers. Established in 1949 it was the biggest independent firm or landscape contractors in Scotland at that time owning 35 acres of land which was given over to growing trees and shrubs. Semi-mature tree supply and planting was in its infancy at this time and Civic Trees pioneered the transplanting of large trees supplying trees to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Falkirk cities.
