Services
Koussa Architects are a design focused Architectural Practice which focuses on Quality of Design, Sustainability, Programme and Budget constraints. Abdel Koussa founded Koussa Architects, in 2013, to offer a high quality design service aimed at delivering Architectural solutions that exceed client aspirations, meet site conditions and achieve budget and programme constraints.
Abdel is an established Architect with an international reputation for achieving the highest standards in both the design and technical delivery of award winning Residential, Commercial, Retail, Residential Mixed-Use and Sports projects. He approaches each project as a unique opportunity to explore ideas of physical and social context, program, sustainability, space, and object making.
Koussa Architects are, in association with Majid Khan, presenting this 5 bedroom luxury home as a benchmark for quality of design, detailing and construction. Koussa Architects with Majid Khan (contractor) are an established design team in designing and delivering projects of the highest quality in both Architectural Design and Construction.
Koussa Architects were appointed to redesign the proposed extension to this community centre, to offer education and dining facilities for the local community. Koussa Architects are also designing and detailing the future refurbishment and expansion of existing basement areas. The space has been designed to offer a large open plan dining room which can be sub-divided into 2 or 3 flexible teaching spaces.
Abdel Koussa was one of the lead Architects on this bespoke FIFA compliant stadium and associated support facilities as one of the host venues for the football World Cup in 2010. The form of the largely concrete structure is inspired by the locally iconic baobab tree, with the steel structure supporting the roof plane gathered together at each corner of the stadium.
