NHB Architectural Services became established by Nigel Bush, the Proprietor, in 1985. The company now comprises of two Architectural Technicians and one technologist who specialises in sustainability and eco-friendly procedures. Because we are technicians we are not governed by large fees that are applied with RIBA.
NHB originally started trading from 45 Lemon Street, Truro in 1985 and eventually moved to bigger premises in 2009. We are based just outside Truro and carry out projects throughout the whole of Cornwall. Our portfolio consists of various sized projects from porches, extensions, loft conversions, barn conversions, offices, flats, licensed premises, agricultural projects and we have recently completed two boutique hotels.
Our website will provide you with photographs for a few of our projects showing the project before commencement of work and after completion. Some projects do not have photos because they are not at present completed. Regarding Building Regulation approval, my quote will include our fee and the Council's fees.

It is undeniable that our construction industry is aiming for a sustainable future. Building regulations are becoming stricter, choice of materials and the overall emissions produced by buildings. The services we provide are a free initial site visit and consultation to discuss ideas and offer advice on the most efficient, practical way of achieving your design ambition. After the initial meeting, we will provide you with a quote for our services to carry out a survey and prepare drawings for submission to the Planning Department once we finally agree the scheme with yourselves.
