Formed in 1984 by Gerald Brooks and Jeremy Martin, Martin-Brooks started life with just six employees and now has more than 60. Both partners had been working in the traditional slating industry for 20 years before branching out on their own and wanted to provide a high quality service in this field.

Built up felt and mastic asphalt are our 'bread and butter, ' but in recent years single ply, liquid applied membranes and liquid coatings have become more common, as homeowners strive to find cost-effective answers to their flat roofing problems. Our experienced surveyors are familiar with the many different systems available and are happy to offer independent advice on which would best suit your property.

Had my roof reroofed in 2017 by Martin Brooks, had no issues whatsoever. Work was done effectively and efficiently, would happily recommend to anybody who is in need of any roofing works. Have used Martin Brooks on a couple of roofs and they have always carried out the work professionally. I recently had Martin brooks to complete a full re-roof to my terraced house.

It was straightforward to get someone out to come and look at several roofing jobs we needed doing. The estimator knew what he was talking about and was pleasant. He promised a quote by the following week.
Five weeks later and the quote has never materialised. I have phoned three times in the last fortnight chasing it. Each time I am told that a message will be passed onto the member of staff or he will 'call you back when he's in this afternoon'. I have received no communication back from them and I am very disappointed.
We will not be contacting them again.

An initial comprehensive & detailed quote with a 10 year guarantee, which was important as we had a full reslate of our roof. The roofers Danny and Darryl were polite and efficient and they managed to get the waterproofing material on before the torrential rains continued throughout the month of October. It was nice to have an established company with Dale overseeing the project which meant that when we encountered problems with the failing of fascia boards and window panels, he could easily access other tradesmen like Jaimie (joiner) and Harry (painter) to get everything completed whilst the scaffolding
