From large, high end Central London houses to small mews houses, JD Architects have many years' experience ranging from restoration and modernisation of traditional homes to the design and build of contemporary new homes. As well as design, the practice has extensive experience of planning issues and pride ourselves in designing homes that will gain permission.
JDA has a reputation for bespoke development with a service that includes financial viability and planning consent as well as design, construction and project management. Particular experience includes mixed use development as well as the optimisation of sites with proposals that recognise the context of the site.
The practice has more than 35 years' experience working with across a wide range of protected buildings including Grade 1 and Grade 2* both in London and the country. We have also worked in sensitive areas including Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
Our projects in these sectors are bespoke and firmly based in community. JDA's Hub on the Hill project provides a day drop-in centre for the elderly and a focal point for local residents. We have worked on a wide range of educational projects from university halls of residence to the re-purposing of a school's 6th Form Common Room.
