Next to The Alpaca Centre in Stainton, Penrith, Cumbria, father and son, Garry and Shaun Stevenson established a woodturning workshop to make a range of products for sale in The Alpaca Centre. Dissatisfied with some of the timber available, they began to convert timber from the log and started milling and drying hardwoods for the small woodturning business
