I personally oversee all projects from inception through to completion and have a passion for creating carefully considered architectural solutions. Prior to setting up RD Architects I worked for some of the worlds leading design studios. I began my career in Hong Kong employed on fast-track construction projects that included skyscrapers, cinemas and a Chinese Opera House.

I really can't express how utterly perfect my new home is! I discover new details all the time and am in awe at how this place has turned out. My friend asked me recently, now the house is finished; is there was anything we wish we had done differently, or if there was anything that I found annoying?
The conversion of a redundant agricultural building on an exposed hillside with far reaching panoramic views over the Chew Valley Green Belt. The brief was to convert and extend a stone barn with asbestos roof to provide a long term home for the Client's growing family. A Lower Ground Floor was added to house three additional bedrooms.
There were three key elements to this project. The first was a contemporary extension to house a new kitchen / dining and boot room and link the original house to the pool house. The second was the conversion and first floor extension of the existing garage to create additional space for the Client's teen-age children.

Becky has now finished her second project with us in Chew Valley, Bristol. She was recommended to us by a few people, including our building inspector 9 years ago. From the minute we met her we knew she would be great to work with, she had some amazing ideas, was happy to incorporate our wish list and was honest if our ideas wouldn't work.
