The central member of our team, Kathryn has been managing the company since 2009 joining the team after receiving a 1st class BSc Hons degree from Sheffield Hallam University, where she studied Sport and Leisure Management. Through her strong motivational and managerial skills Kathryn has helped Floors of Stone to become the success story that it is today.
This white cement-based, rapid setting tile adhesive offers high tensile strength and flexibility. It is suitable for all natural stone and can be applied on interior and exterior walls and floors and is also suitable for underfloor heating. This adhesive will not discolour even the palest of tiles.

Floors of Stone have been absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Initially sending lots of samples out to help us with our selection, we eventually decided to go with the Rustic Travertine in the Opus pattern to match our old house. The order went through with no issues and delivery was prompt. We had a small issue with damaged tiles (due to the delivery company), but we got straight in contact with Liam at Floors of Stone and managed to have some replacements sent out. Our tiles are now set out for tiling and we couldn't be happier! They're perfect for our kitchen.

Four years ago we tiled our hallway and dining room with some beautiful travertine tiles from Floors of Stone. When we started doing our extension build this year I was delighted to find out that the same tiles were still available as I planned to flow the tiles from the existing room to the new build.
As per my dealings with the company the first time, the service was impeccable with staff courteous, helpful and prompt.
My Tyler has just finished laying the new tiles and they look absolutely stunning. The visual effect of the flow from the existing rooms to the new rooms is superb. The quality

The service was very good, when we first visited. They explained everything in detail and have been on the end of the phone to answer queries. The quality of stone tiles was very good and everything arrived as ordered. They were excellent in organising delivery to the Outer Hebrides when many companies just refused. We shall certainly be using them again.

And I would rate them '0' if I could.
Some of the tiles were with defects and instead of agreeing to replace ( and take the others back) the solution I was given was that the tiler cuts the defected sides off and hides the tiles somewhere noone can see them.
I would not recommend or buy from them again. Not worth the stress

We are thrilled with our travertine floor. It looks better even than we had hoped and works beautifully in our 400 year old house.
The team at Floors of Stone were very helpful indeed and were there to help when we had queries- we had never laid a floor like this before.
The price was a really pleasant surprise too and the delivery was so prompt.
All in all, a fantastic experience.

Ordered some travertine and accompanying adhesives from Floors of Stone and found them to be exceptional quality. Above all though was their customer service, in particular Molly which was second to none, going above and beyond and extremely helpful. Will use them again and come highly recommended through me.
