Incredibly helpful and absolutely lovely. Had recently purchased a faulty chandelier at another shop who weren’t able to fix or replace. These folks were able to fix in less than 2 days. We’ll most certainly be back for any other lighting needs!

A light fitting at this shop is more expensive than John Lewis , we saw the same one £43 pounds less in John Lewis today. They also want charge 45 pounds for 3 bulbs, the exact ones are 15 pounds for 3 online. Staff were very rude when asked about their bulb prices so we walked out saving our money!

My elderly parents had a terrible experience with this shop's owner when they bought over £600 worth of products - including bulbs they were sold costing £89.70, which they did not require (as the light fitting came with them). the bulbs incidentally are £69.90 cheaper in other stores.
I won't go into any other detail yet, as I am hoping that they will respond to my written complaint (sent via email 27th July, followed up twice and not yet even acknowledged).
I just wanted other vulnerable customers to be aware in the meantime.

Bad services i recieved wrong bulb while i ordered GLS dimmable, i call them the same day i sent email saying that the bulb is not dimmable is normal light bulb the invoice have different informations than the bulb itself.. I received a call after 2 3 weeks which is more than 7 days to return the product and i should return on my own fees.. I dont recommend buying online.... Is a mess they dont care about the customer.
AS you said you didn't receive from me any single email here is the answer from the support team :) look down Miss you have received the message and the invoice is showing that

This companies service is second to none. I bought 2 lamp fragile glass lamp shades from them on the Monday and by the Wednesday I had received my complete order. Even with a slight hitch in the process they even rang to advise that my order would be delivered the next day, and it was. Another company 4 weeks later has not even contacted me with regards to the same products required.

We ordered a Tiffany light that was out of stock, but were informed immediately, and kept updated throughout. Communication is everything in business, but is unfortunately a dying concept with many. The light arrived as advised, although it had been damaged from manufacture, as the packaging was perfect. Lampwise immediately organised a replacement that arrived in perfect condition a short time later. Highly recommended retailer with excellent prices with service to match.

After 5 years' regular custom, during which my wife and I must have spent upwards of £2,000 with Lampwise and found their service generally no better than adequate, we bought a standard lamp in their sale for £99. It had three bulbs inside the glass stand and my wife asked the sales assistant if it would be easy to replace them when they blew. We were assured that it would. When a bulb finally blew, I attempted to take the lamp apart in order to replace it and couldn't. So I took the lamp back to the shop and asked the owner how to do it. Ordered out door lights back in April and did not open them and test until July. I emailed Lighting Direct to explain expecting the company to refuse an exchange. Lighting Direct emailed me back within a day to explain they did not store the light anymore and that they would refund in full within 3 days. Excellent customer service and no issues what so ever. Would use again !

We're building a new house so needed help and advice on lighting. Mark's skill and product knowledge has been invaluable. He did a site visit, came up with great ideas, wasn't pushy and didn't try to 'over sell'. The Refined Lighting store has a fantastic selection of lighting as well as a huge catalogue of items which can be ordered. Mark can arrange for bespoke pieces to be made too. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's been a real pleasure doing business with them. We can't recommend them highly enough. You don't have to be kitting out a whole house to shop there!!

This is the best selection of lighting we have found locally. It really helps to see the lights on display rather than online. We went to the shop with a vague idea of what we wanted but had no difficulty finding lights that we liked. We placed an order and subsequent checks showed the price was competitive with online sellers. So far so good.… When I collected the lights I found the main ceiling light was not the one we ordered. My wife and I were absolutely certain which light we had requested. We were not impressed that the shop said we had made the mistake and must pay delivery to exchange

Pros: This is a fab shop! Honest it is... it's not boring at all to go and look at lighting and bulbs and things. Well it's not to me because I'm trying to move my house over to the cheapest possible lighting I can - solar! Now to do that I need low energy lights because they use less power and so I can get more from my solar panels that way. This shop has all sorts of lamps, light fittings, and bulbs to help me do this!

It's not the cheapest place, but to be honest it's not really expensive either, and if you're looking for anything that's not bog standard

Very Poor and unreliable customer service.

They do not hesiatet to tell you lies. This company's owners are simply crooks and they know how to screw a customer!. The information they had given us was not correct. Just do not go and buy anything from this company if you do not want to be screwed up.
Pay attention to the receipyt they give you. Because there is no information about the product you have just bought and then later unable to prove anything about the faulty and dodgy product you have just bought from them.
