Agnieszka Wejchert Pearson moved from Dublin to Kingston University London in 1989 to study Interior Design. At the end of her degree she was one of the students selected to exhibit her work at the Business Design Centre. After graduating she returned to Dublin for 6 months, working in the office of Ross Cahill O'Brien Architects.
Early 1994-1995 saw her travel to Belize in Central America where she worked freelance with design partner Jonathan Pearson. Their work specialised in exhibition and leisure projects. Wejchert Pearson joined the Architectural Association in 1995 and graduated from architecture there in 1998. She received her Part 3 in 2000, and went on to become a partner in Mundo design, London.
Mundo re-classified as an architectural practice at this time. The principal projects were in hotel and residential. In 2001 the partnership moved to rural Mid Wales, where they based to this day. Moving to Wales was strategic and instinctive for Wejchert Pearson, to focus on sustainability and projects within the natural landscape, as well as a healthier work life balance.
