I have used AJL for many years. Always very fair, very courteous and work very neatly. I've always been satisfied.

Prompt arrival. Worked efficiently and tidy whilst being very pleasant and helpful! Very happy, highly recommended and will use again.

I rang up initially for a quote for dishwasher repair and the gentleman I spoke to spoke with knowledge and sense and even gave me advice which meant turning business away but was the best value for me. I really appreciate honest people and I’ll be sure to go back when I need them again. Thanks!

Had a very poor experience. After having a problem with a Siemens washer/dryer after a chat on the phone I was advised to get an engineer to come. I was promised as I had 2 weeks before new tenants moved in that it would either be fixed or we could replace in that time. The engineer came and said I would either hear back that afternoon or the following day being a Saturday. I heard nothing and called on the Saturday afternoon to be promised someone would call right back. Nothing. I called on Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday by which time I was getting concerned due to time. I had no call

I've been here before, had good service, but the wonderful Internet said they were open, when they weren't! It's ironic too that the very thing I depended on is also responsible for the demise of places like this.
OK, never believe what you see online, and phone calls went unanswered, but maybe an out of hours answer message actually saying they were closed would have saved me a bus journey.
In their defence, the modern age of throwaway white goods makes these places extra special for those of us who prefer to fix rather than replace, and I can understand the need for downtime if custom is slow

I cannot praise them enough. I had an alarm with my freezer which in the end turned out to be a false alarm. I spoke to them several times starting with the panic when I thought that my cupboard size freezer might melt in front of my eyes and later when I discovered that the problem was caused by a broken piece of insignificant plastic. They could not have been more helpful or polite. Thank you Mark.

Wonderful local business with brilliant customer service. Have used their excellent engineers for appliance repairs for more than 15 years. This week have had the pleasure of dealing with Colette and Lisa who've sourced spares for my mother's elderly Miele and vintage Hoover vacuum cleaners in double-quick time.

Thursday morning, 20th December and our old Miele washing machine starts leaking heavily. We called AJL but given the time of year we weren’t expecting much of a quick response. Next day, engineer arrives, at the time we were told and 35 mins later and a new part, all solved. Next time I need a machine repaired or replaced, I’m going nowhere else. First rate.

I took my Dyson vacuum cleaner in to be fixed as it had lost suction. The guy managed to fix it there and then on site. Fantastic friendly, professional and expert service. Has a good range of appliances too. Highly recommended.
