Services
A cylinder style stainless steel thermal store with a separate cold section - which can be supplied with an isolation kit and installed without a discharge overflow if preferred. The store is open vented at atmospheric pressure. Mains hot water is via an internal coil and there is no need for relief valves, tun dishes or metal discharge pipes.
The HETAS listed SFUTS pre plumbed pre wired Universal Thermal Store has been designed to link a number of heat sources including gas or oil boilers, wood burners, and solar thermal or PV as well as electric and other inputs. Everything you see in the picture is included in the price! It uses the thermal store principle of storing central heating (primary) water, and is fed without coils from boilers and wood burners for example.
You won't find an electric combi in a white box, it would need an electric cable feed the size of your wrist. Most gas combi boilers are 30kW or more, and the average house has a 100 amp electric power supply, so using all of this power would only produce 24 kW and you would need to switch every other electric appliance off!
Advance has been involved in the design and manufacture of these special cylinders for many years and we have worked closely with leading heat pump manufacturers to make sure the product works well with that technology. It isn't just a case of bigger coils, but coil capacities and positions in cylinders are critical, as is resistance.

We have install over 50 of Advance Appliances ETS units for our customers. We find they are always cheerful and they bend over backwards to help. When we did have an issue with one of their units they responded quickly and its was resolved to our (and our customers) satisfaction.

I purchased the boiler in Aug 2018, the boiler start leaking in Jan 2020. I tried to contact them for repair since earlier Feb, the customer services staff was rude and ignorance. To be honest, they couldn't care less about the customers, no reply on either the phone and e-mails. They blame the plumber didn't install it correctly, when I asked them to put it in written, so i can use it as a proof. NO RESPONSE FROM THEM AT ALL SINCE THEN. I am going to raise a mediation now, if it's not working, then i will take them to court. Never deal with a company like this, find a big brand next time, a lesson

I bought a multifuel thermal store from Advance Appliances approximately 2 yrs ago now and its been fantastic. I waited until now to write the review in case we had any issues but I cant fault it. The product and the service has been excellent. I had a few minor issues following installation but after talking through my system on the phone and my requirements they quickly came up with a solution that has worked perfectly. Happy to answer questions or provide any info on our system if required. Big thanks to Advance Appliances.

In the rare case of issues or warranty claims they have always been sorted genially and efficiently.
Delivery is fast , rarely lost, and if so tracked easily.
Price is excellent value for excellent products.

We have used Advance Appliances products since 2012. (Two six-port 215 litre buffers and a separate electric thermal store.) They’ve been very helpful in supplying good information regarding system design and installation, willingly going beyond what one might expect as a residential customer. The products have been straightforward to install and fault-free in use.

After many many phone calls and weeks of no hot water the issue was resolved yes, but the experience with Advance Appliances leaves much to be desired.

Edited: 01/07/19, following a phone call.
Poor Product, and extremely poor customer service. Ended up with a broken boiler after less than one year following installation. In the middle of the night the thermostat became faulty, causing the entire boiler to act as a kettle creating steam and water damage to the property. Had no one been in the property this would have resulted in a fire, as the boiler didn't have a safety mechanism in place to shut itself down in such circumstance. We had to replaster directly below the boiler in the kitchen, and re decorate, where water has seeped through. Should
