Manufacturing timber sash windows and other specialist joinery using the highest quality materials available to ensure excellence in our work.

Sash Windows Report

The sash windows are fitted with 24mm (Argon filled) double glazed units, these are fitted from the inside with timber beading to give you added security. The units are double sealed and made up using a thermal spacer bar and have a soft coating to reflect heat back into the room.

I am taking a big risk by publishing my address to recommend Jon's workshop to anyone wanting timber windows, doors and stairs done. Come to check out my front window at 213 Sternhold Avenue, SW2 4PG. They were fitted about 3 years ago, the one at the back of the house were fitted the first around 2014 April. 4 years on, they look stunning as new. They really keep the house warm and they were made properly by someone who really cares about what they do. Jon has been working at the same workshop making windows before I was born, over thirty years! His makes all the windows by hand and spray them

I have just used Jon to replace all the windows in a victorian house in Battersea which had been converted from the original sashes to aluminium in the 1970s. He took a huge amount of trouble to make sure the measurements were correct and made the new windows beautifully. Dave, his colleague, removed the old frames and fitted the new very carefully and professionally. I would have no hesitation in recommending Buckfield joinery to anyone thinking of replacing or renovating their sash windows.
