Terrible experience. A complete farce with the arrangements for the blinds to be fitted with four appointments made, only to get a phone call the evening before to say that they couldn’t find the blinds. Because one got damaged, when they were eventually fitted they didn't match and even after a further visit, they still don't close at the same time. They sent me a “do it yourself” guide on how to get them working properly !. Customer service is appalling and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

The blinds and fitting were excellent. This is an amendment of my previous review critisising their customer care, including the delay (nearly 4 months) in fitting them and how slow they were in getting back to me when I tried to contact them. However they have since contacted me about these issues showing they are concerned about the customer experience so I am increasing from 2 to 4 stars.

Really disappointed with Appeal. We'd advise people to be extremely thoughtful about using them.
To give some context we ordered an awning (25th April) and it still has not been fitted!!!
It's unclear how it has taken 7 months (given the quote was for it to take 10 weeks) and we still DO NOT have a date for installation.
Our 2 issues are:
1. COMMUNICATION - There is NO customer service department - pointless trying to contact them once you have placed on order. Silence and when you do speak to a human it's not their responsibility and there is nobody they can direct you to
2. DELAY / MISMANAGEMENT

Our bedroom blinds we ordered from this company have lasted 2 years and are still going. Now we’ve got a new set of shutters for our outhouse which already look amazing. The budget estimation that I was given during the inspection was very accurate and the cherry on the cake was that the final payable amount came out to be somewhat lesser. They waste no time in measurements etc and the conversations with their staff were very polite and to the point.

Over all it was a very good experience. We just finished getting retractable awnings installed at apartment. Can’t wait for the rest of the window shading to be completed. Everyone on the project is well qualified and competent for the job. They were very quick to respond on the message I had left them to get a quote. Moreover, they were not at all pushy during the first call. Felt understood and comfortable while dealing with them.

We have kids at home and my only concern was breakage and child locking system of the automated window blinds. I can say I am fairly convinced with both the products and services. The built is strong and I really like the look of my house now. They had a plethora of options to choose from. Their employees are not just skillful but also great craftsmen. Went by their suggestions and I am quite happy.

If you are looking for a good quality house or workplace shades experience I don't think there is any better. They have a beautiful collection of contemporary designs. They are very flexible with packages and open to customizations, I got exactly what I wanted. The installations were flawlessly done too. The team members were very polite and their customer support service was really prompt. Must go for it.. highly recommend !!

It is very easy to get quotes online excellent workmanship and the final bill was exactly what was estimated. I usually don’t write reviews but this one could not be missed. Everything was completed as per the timeline given to me in the beginning. The products are amazing the window shutters and binds we got look so great. The installation work was done as per our convenience and they were very considerate about our time and personal space.

You can expect the best quality product and services with Appeal Home Shading. I would have given 6 STARs had that been an option…. This is the second time I am purchasing window blinds from them, this time for the third floor and nothing has changed. The workmanship and customer support system is still commendable. They are easy to reach out to and fix issues right away. the shades we got installed 3 years ago are still in good shape.

Having ordered from Appeal thinking I'd get a nice quick job with what I thought was a brand worth using, turned out to be a disaster. It was so bad that they had to sack the guy who measured them because he had a habit of getting it wrong. Turns out from other reviews that he got around most of England! Avoid at all costs and maybe try www.hilarys.co.uk
