Our new Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) lets us safely reach the places others can't. Needed something done to 3 conifers that we were told were dwarf ( they were HUGE and very wide, certainly not dwarf ) The guys were very professional and polite and certainly worked hard in the heat. First time round, removed VERY high branches from an oak tree; that and other trees now under control and was able to cut back the branches myself so this time they just chipped the branches.

Lord of the trees have been providing firewood logs to addresses throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians since 2003. All of our firewood logs are from sustainable sources in the local area. Hardwoods burn longer than soft woods and work better for overnight heating. They will usually have coals left over in the morning so you can quickly restart your fire.
Trees which have outgrown the garden they occupy and/or dead, diseased or dangerous trees sometimes need to be removed entirely. When there is enough space, a straight fell is the quickest and most straight-forward way to remove a tree. It involves cutting the tree at the base and allowing it fall to the ground before processing.
We are able to cut virtually any hedge from small privet hedges in domestic gardens to this mighty 50ft hedge at Duddingston golf course! We have the tools and the training, from our mobile platform to our long reach hedge cutters to tackle the most awkward of hedges. If your hedge is looking the worse for wear, a skillful prune can improve it's appearance and give it a new lease of life.
No matter what job we take on, without fail it is done to the very highest standard. We always endeavour to work within the pruning tolerances of the species of tree on which we work and make sure that minimal disruption is caused to the rest of clients' property. If your garden is beautifully presented when we arrive it will remain so after we leave.

Very professional and polite. Their advise was excellent and showed care for the trees and brushes. I heard about them from a neighborhood and they didn't disappoint, in fact the work completed was far better then I was expecting. Left my outside area clean and tidy. Everything removed.

Lord of the Trees have done a brilliant job cutting back my trees ! I could not be more impressed with their work. Their effort, knowledge and skills were most impressive. Elan and the team worked really hard and fast and returned beauty and attractive shape to the treeline.
They also cleared up really well at the end of the job.

Lord of the Trees were excellent, fast, clean and clearly experts. They took care of the rest of our property whilst doing the work. For a second job they came out and it was much easier than we had all thought (large root removal) so John reduced the price for us by half. It’s not often you get that kind of service. Excellent

These guys were professional and polite. A great job, quickly done at a very reasonable price. They also had to walk through my house to get access to my back garden, but left no mess. Even offered to hoover! I loved that they also dealt with all the bureaucratic paperwork involved with taking down the small tree in my back garden. Heartily recommend this company.
