Prestige is a damp proofing company offering many solutions to rid your property of damp, mould, dry rot, wet rot, woodworm, leaking basements, through to all your general plastering needs including outside rendering and full property re plastering. Rising damp causes are a regularly asked question, in short it is when water occurs from the ground and rises up through the bricks and mortar via capillary action. Water basically rises through porous walls in the same way a sponge soaks up water in a sink. Any structure unprotected by a properly installed damp course is susceptible to rising damp this is where capillary action will rise through pores of masonry.

Patrick and his team did a fantastic job identifying and fixing the damp issues in my flat. They were very knowledgeable and answered all my many questions professionally. They turned the job around in the short time frame I had, rearranging things to ensure it was all completed on time and to an excellent standard. Patrick was excellent from the moment he came out to do our quote. He was honest about what work we needed, which was less than other companies had suggested. He sent us a detailed quote within 24 hours, which was considerably cheaper than other companies due to Patrick’s honesty, and arranged for the work to start only 2 days later. I had an issue with damp on my external garage wall and contacted Prestige.
