I try to get strait timbers but i was not allowed to pick myself .Don,t want to get what they will give me so decided not to buy any bendet wood from them

A pleasant place to go for timber, very friendly staff. The prices are very competitive. I will certainly be buying my fence wood from here. A bit of DIY is good for the soul and a good price makes it better.

Timber we needed was bent and bowed so we needed to sort through it to find some lengths that were suitable.
They wouldn’t allow us to do this and were told we get what were given. That’s fine if it was actually being given but that doesn’t sit right with me when I’m buying something.
So I tried Nordstroms who were only 10p a meter more for c24 grade which is better than the c16. More helpful staff too.

Been going here for years, always helpful staff, always let me know whats available when I ring. Coped really well after lock down. very good system in place. Never had a problem, very competitive prices.

If we could put no stars we would. On numerous occasions we have tried to place an order by phone. They have no customer skills whatsoever & can't wait to get you off phone. Before lockdown they were very helpful now they have a terrible attitude dvery abrupt with u you.

Tried to make an order via the telephone, was rudely shouted at twice by a man who simply said "Sedgefield" "aye this is Sedgefield" who then hung up when trying to place an order to Washington. Doubled checked the number was correct, will advise people avoid this supplier.

Very busy today but they had a good system in place, given the restrictions. I hadn't checked prices beforehand but I was shocked (in a good way) when I got the bill.

Terrible system for website sales. No prices on website you must send request list and wait for email. This all well and good if somebody is manning the emails. Unfortunately there isnt and after waiting days I still have no idea of cost, availability, let alone if or when I can place my order. This happened twice in row now so gave up n went elsewhere
