Oliver's Builders Merchants has been established since 1991 in Annfield Plain, Stanley. Our shop carries a broad range of products to fullfill the needs of both the keen DIY'er and the professional trades person, and we are on hand to help and give advice where possible. We offer a reliable delivery service (for a small charge) which can be 'Same Day/Next Day' if you order before 12.00pm, our cash on delivery or card payment over the telephone service is available 6 days a week (terms apply) and our location in Stanley means that we are ideally situated for delivery to Durham, Newcastle and all surrounding areas of our premises.

Forget all the big DIY stores...if you want decent wood at decent prices and cut to size..this is the place.
Great Friendly service backed up by a vast knowledge of the building trade. From DIY to the "on the tools" tradesperson this is the place for you.

Bought 5 edging stones today,3very helpful young lads loaded them into the boot of my car for me. On unloading them 3 of them are badly stained, they must have known about this as they were all loaded with the clean side up.Really disappointed as I was going to go back tomorrow and purchase more to go right around my garden as I really liked them but this under handness has really put me off.

Been using Olivers for around 18 months.
Helpful friendly staff, keeping a wide range of products. If they don’t have it in, brian and the team will order it in for you. Handy, local and a great asset to have on the doorstep for all building materials. Very trustworthy and would highly recommend this Company.

Great local builders merchants stocking a wide range of building materials and tools. Prices are reasonable and I hedge found staff are very helpful.
Just a note........they close for lunch, between 12 and , I think🤔
