Our furniture is made to live life with you, built to last and created to be admired. Not everyone gets as excited about timber as we do.
Beautiful furniture can transform a space. Goldfinch is perfectly placed to help bring life into your premises, whether it's a restaurant, office, shop or outdoor area, we want to work with you to understand your business ascetic and functional needs. We start by listening, add any suggestions we may have into the mix and then produce what you need on time and in budget.
We source high quality English timber, predominantly from inside the M25. Over the last few years we have built some great relationships with local foresters and tree surgeons who let us mill fallen and coppiced trees into boards that we then dry in our kilns. We handle a number of different types of wood.
We source already fallen or ethically felled (had to be taken down) hard wood trees from managed woodlands. We then use chainsaw mills to cut the trees into usable and uniform thickness boards ready to be dried. By using small mobile mills we're able to access trees in even the most inaccessible locations.

This is the second batch of table tops we have ordered for our restaurant. The quality of workmanship is just as beautiful as the time before. Having gone for oak this time, the wood is an amazing grain. Our first batch of table tops are still going strong. Communication with the team was great and the turn around was quick. All in all we would highly recommend working with Goldfinch

I highly recommend this company. I had a large custom-made wooden shelving/display unit designed, made and fitted by the team at Goldfinch. Every stage of the process was an excellent experience: excellent design suggestions; quality build; flexible modifications as the build developed; high-quality build and fitting; and very attentive after-care service. The finished unit looks amazing.

I would highly recommend the team at Goldfinch who built us a custom tall shelving unit with ladder, a wardrobe and kitchen cabinets within an agreed budget.
From initial enquiry and design to installation and snagging the team have been responsive and professional throughout.
The design process was what you would hope for and more with detailed drawings provided for review and revision throughout.
Samples of the finishes proposed were provided and it was nice to have the opportunity to visit the workshop on Spa Road.
The installation was swift and managed well with the end product exactly

We bought a lovely coffee table from Goldfinch years ago. They were great to deal with – changed the design a bit for us and delivered it a week later. It's survived the years well, including two kids climbing all over it, but still looks as good as ever.
Posting a review now as a few weeks ago I wanted some special wooden shelves in our new kitchen and Goldfinch sorted me out with some stunning shelving made from pippy oak (picture).

Goldfinch Furniture had previously designed and built us a large bespoke display unit in 2018. We commissioned our second piece of furniture from Goldfinch during the first CV19 lockdown. We were suddenly forced to work from home, but live in a warehouse style apartment so creating an office space is challenging and we were sick of using the dining table for everything!
We collaborated with Fred to design a custom made writing desk. It is built in a hard wood (flamed beech), the desk surface has a great feel, especially with the resin infills. Every last detail is exquisite.

I moved into a converted school - warehouse style apartment last summer. I was looking to get a large bespoke piece of oak furniture which was unique, gave a focal point for the space and had a bit of wow. I was tempted to buy a high end Italian unit from Heels to house books, vases, drinks cabinet and lots of stuff that needed showing off.
