Tingdene were faced a key challenge when an industry shortage of plywood, used for the packing and lining of the park home exterior walls, meant that production of the park homes would be compromised and not completed on time unless an alternative product was sourced. Working with Arnold Laver allowed the team at Springfield to cater to the projects' bespoke requirements.

From 1920 to 2020, Arnold Laver's journey from one man and a single depot in Sheffield after World War 1, to now being part of the largest independant timber merchant in the UK; with a network of 19 depots across the country, is a success story in itself! Throughout the year we will be celebrating 100 years of Arnold Laver with all our valued customers.

Arnold Laver stocks a wide range of surface solutions, from leading suppliers including Dekodur, Leeuwenburgh, Meganite, Nevamar, Paludet and Sonae. ASD Laminate's is made from decor papers impregnated with phenolic resin and melamine resin. Dekodur provide a range of premium laminates, made from almost anything - including real leather, metals and even gold!

I think Ahmad (Borehamwood) was genuinely the most helpful person in the whole entire world. Couldn't have done any more for me. As a sort of newbie timber purchaser he really did sort me out and even help me get it in the car. Great value for money too! Saved a fortune by not going to B&Q or Wickes. Highly reccomend!
