Building Surveys Report

If you've found your dream home, it's a good idea to have the property inspected by an expert before investing. Brittain Hadley are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and offer several types of surveys to meet different requirements.

Party Wall Matters Report

If you're thinking of extending or altering your home, you'll need to gain consent from your adjoining neighbours or an agreement, known as a Party Wall Award, before your works can progress. It's a good idea to put this in place sooner rather than later. The process can be very straight forward, but in some instances it can take time to achieve an agreement, which could cause a delay to your work commencing.

Defects Analysis Report

If you've got issues with your property such as damp, cracking, water ingress or rotting and you're unsure of the cause, our team are fully experienced at making an inspection and diagnosing the problem. You'll receive a full report with analysis along with our recommendations for resolving the problem area.

Excellent Service all round! We required a last minute survey to be carried out on the purchase of a property and Brittain Hadley were the only company in the area who were able to fit us in within a week considering it was a busy period. We stressed the urgency and they were very accommodating and were able to have the report to us within 10 days of the survey being carried out. I had asked for Brittain Hadley to complete a survey on a property I was interested in purchasing. I received a very quick response to my initial phone call, and was sent a dummy report to help give me an idea of how the report would look. Once I had agreed to proceed they were very quick in arranging a date with the estate agents for the following week. I received the report only 5 days after the survey, and was both detailed, and plain enough language to understand. The surveyor in question (Nathan Sproule)was also happy to answer my follow up questions to some of the points raised in the report
